The
Israeli business Club (IBC), was formed on may 1997 for Israeli
men and women who live in London, or have business interests in
the UK. They vary from representatives of Israeli private and
public companies to private individuals who work in England. The
club has established its status among the Israeli community and
has proven time and again the importance of being the only club
which is attentive to the Israeli community.
Nowadays the IBC, which
operates as a members' club, includes more than 200 members, and
is growing monthly with the steady flow of new business minded
Israelis who want to take advantage of what the club can offer.
We work in full co-operation with the Embassy of Israel in
London and keep a close relationship with the different Jewish
organizations, such as the United Jewish Israel Appeal (UJIA),
Spiro Ark, The British Israel Chamber of Commerce (BICC), JNF,
etc. Only two similar clubs exist outside Israel, one in L.A.
and the other in Geneva.
The IBC activities are held in Hebrew and include lectures on a
variety of subjects, inviting politicians, businessman,
professors and other professional experts to share their view
with the Club members. The IBC also holds a variety of cultural
events and take part in helping many Israeli organizations.
